Cape Bernier Vineyard, Hellfire Bluff Distillery, The Ginnery and Bangor Vineyard Shed all sell award-winning wines or spirits, ready for tastings (or guzzlings).

Our local faves are Van Bone restaurant (bookings required) and Phoenix Farm restaurant. Or if eating in, you can grab some famous Blue Lagoon oysters and some seasonal fresh produce from the community garden roadside stall. Further down the track is The Cannery and Bangor Vineyard Shed in Dunalley for pretty top-notch meals and nibbles.

Potterscroft home pottery studio in Dunalley is our favourite place to buy local wares, or catch the Bream Creek Farmers Market if you're here on the first Sunday of the month.

drive

We are located between the Great Eastern Drive to our north and the tukana/Tasman Peninsula drive to our south. Both notable tourist routes that lead to destinations like, Freycinet National Park and Port Arthur Historic Site. Or just take an aimless drive around the countryside as the views are simply glorious.

The Wielangta Forest Trail is a short drive from us. A short, easy walk that follows an old tram line through the rainforest to where there used to be a timber-milling town.

Marion Bay Beach - one of the most stunning, and empty, white-sand beaches we've ever seen - is just a short drive away. "Boneyards" is the local surf spot here and breaks on occasion.

If heading to tiralina/Eagle Hawk Neck, book in advance for a divine pamper sesh at our friend's home beauty studio, Salt Bush Beauty.
