Nature
Nature surrounds our cabin. Perched on a hill next to bushland, near neighbours to the Wielangta Forest, looking out over north Marion Bay Beach to the Tasman Sea with the bottom of wukaluwukiwayna/Maria Island in sight, Clearys Corner is a haven for the naturalist. Enjoy total seclusion and privacy as no other house is in sight (even our private residence is hidden behind trees).
Wielangta Rd
12 min to drive, 2-3 hour return walk

A relatively flat walk in the heart of the Wielangta Forest that follows an abandoned logging tramline to the old timber milling township of Wielangta. Follow WielangtaRoad for about 11km until you come to some stone buildings and a picnic spot on your right at the Sandspit Forest Reserve. You can walk in and turn back on the same track at the end, or walk a loop by following the Wielangta Rd. We recommend walking back through the forest to avoid approaching traffic and dust.
Marion Bay
15 min

One of the most stunning beaches you'll ever see with vast white sand beach, blue water, waves, dunes, and a viewing platform that looks out to many landmasses including Hellfire Bluff and the southern end of wukaluwukiwayna/Maria Is. Bream Creek empties here sometimes making a warm swimming pool and there are a couple of surf spots for the seasoned surfers out there.
